C.R.A.Z.Y. tells the story of the extraordinary lives of ordinary people in search of love and happiness. It is a family drama about a father's love for his five sons and one son's love for his father that is so strong that it compels him to live a lie.
That son is Zac, born on the 25th of December 1960, who is different from all his brothers but desperate to fit in. As a child, Zac enjoys idyllic journeys as his father's favourite but by the time the film transitions to 1975, Zac is a teenager caught up in Bruce Lee movies, glam rock music and sexual experiences that change everything in his life. By the 1980's, Zac's journey of self-discovery brings about some surprising conclusions.
