Marieta is a pre-op transsexual street hooker who yearns for a better life and a vagina. She lives with a dwarf of indeterminate sexuality and frequently takes care of her neighbour's son (who, in a further gender game, looks like a girl.) Marieta's got a problem, she's a narcoleptic who is likely to fall asleep at any time and anywhere. What's wonderful for us film goers is that when Marieta dreams, they are full-scale musical numbers - all beautifully choreographed and sung by Marieta herself. With several difficult scenes of Marieta with her customers, these musical numbers are a terrific diversion. A "huge" benefit to Marieta and her work is her 20 centimeters long penis that johns just love. One note to viewers is that you the viewer are spared nothing, this is not a Hollywood drag queen movie, there's some rough stuff here.
